Power Generation Workshop
The Power Generation Workshops bring state and
federal government, academia, power industry, air pollution control
technology and other energy entities together to discuss and present
information about pertinent rules, power and energy issues, and
upcoming technology related to climate change.
2008 Presentations
The FDEP, Central District’s 12th Annual Power Generation Conference was held at the Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, Orlando, Florida on July 31, 2008. This one-day conference was co-sponsored by Progress Energy and Florida Power & Light, with support from the Air & Waste Management Association. The theme of this year’s conference
was: The Power Industry and CO2PERATION II on Global Climate Change.
The topics focused on alternate energy uses, carbon capture, and
carbon sequestration.
