Air pollution comes from two broad categories of sources: stationary sources, like power plants, pulp mills and other facilities; and mobile sources, like cars and trucks.

Who is responsible for air permitting in Florida?

Select the Permits tab to see more information on air permitting programs in Florida, and get contact information for specific industry types or permitting offices. View Permits Online! Search for permits facilities in Florida and view their air permits using the Air Permit Document Search (APDS).

Are the sources of air pollution in compliance with state and federal regulations?

Has the division developed any other resources to assist regulated facilities or the public in getting more information?

The division has many online resources available for additional information on emissions sources. The Small Business Environmental Assistance Program provides compliance assistance with environmental regulations to small businesses   There are also electronic tools available for Electronic Permit Submittal and Processing and Electronic Annual Operating Reports  or online searches of facility permitting, compliance information.
