Types of wastewater facilities

  • Domestic Wastewater- wastewater from your sinks, drains, showers and toilets

  • Industrial Wastewater- if it's not domestic wastewater, it is probably industrial wastewater

  • NPDES- wastewater treatment facilities that discharge to surface water (may be domestic or industrial wastewater)
