This event will feature the children’s story Blackberry Banquet by author Terry Pierce, with
illustrations by Lisa Downey. Mmm-mm! Forest animals squeak, tweet, slurp, yip and chomp over the sweet,
plump fruit of a wild blackberry bush. But what happens when a bear arrives to take part in the feast? Young
children will enjoy following the story by making the animal sounds, and the chaos that strikes upon the
bear's arrival will surely bring on the laughter. The story will be followed by a fun craft activity for
participants to take home.
-
Wed, Dec 17, 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
The featured story will be Stranger in the Woods, by
authors and noted wildlife photographers Carl R. Sams II and
Jean Stoick. The story will be followed by a creative craft
activity for participants to take home.
Notice: Program activities are subject to change. Please call for verification.
