Description

Back from the Brink: The Redfish Story

Every year, millions of anglers along the east coast and the Gulf of Mexico pit their skills against what has been called one of the greatest gamefish in the southern United States. Red drum, also called channel bass, spottail, or redfish have an appeal that’s hard to explain. From the crashing surf of the outer banks of North Carolina to the Florida flats and on around to Texas, this story tells of the decline and the remarkable recovery of this popular fish.

Come for the movie – Stay for the exhibits! Admission to the Environmental Education Center is $2 for adults, $1 for children aged ten to 17 and children under ten are free.
