Public Meetings

The management plan review process includes 2 rounds of public meetings to obtain input from local stakeholders.

• A Public Scoping Meeting to receive input on perceived issues and concerns regarding the site
• A Formal Public Meeting to receive feedback on the draft management plan

Public Scoping Meeting

October 25, 2006

This public scoping meeting will assist in crafting the content for this site management plan. The information from the meeting will be recorded, compiled, and presented to CAMA by facilitators. The objectives of the public scoping meeting are to:

• Inform the public about the history, purpose, and scope of management plan development
• Solicit public input regarding issues and opportunities that should be addressed in the management plan

Formal Public Meeting

April 25, 2007

The formal public meeting will allow us to receive input on the draft St. Joseph Bay Aquatic Preserve Management Plan. The objectives of the formal public meeting are to:

• Present the draft management plan with a focus on issues, goals, objectives, and strategies
• Receive feedback from stakeholders on the draft management plan
