With
respect to the siting of power plants in Florida, under the
Power Plant Siting Act
(PPSA),
steam electric or solar power
plants which generate 75 megawatts (MW) or more in capacity would go through
the PPSA process. For plants that would generate less than 75 megawatts,
general information follows for what permits may be involved that would use
a variety of energy efficient power.
