Note: This portal provides access to most of the DEP ArcIMS Internet mapping websites. If you plan to use bookmarks, bookmark this page rather than the individual site pages as those will likely migrate to different servers soon. The portal page will be the most reliable form of access to the ArcIMS sites. Please also note that most ArcIMS sites use frames and the "Back" button will be disabled on some of them.

FDEP Enterprise

  • Consolidated Web Mapping Application

MapDirect aka the Consolidated Application, nicknamed "CA" has been launched. The MapDirect application replaces a number of existing single-purpose web mapping applications into a single integrated application with extensive capabilities. This integration should enhance overall ease of use and will result in lower software development and maintenance costs. Mapdirect provides access to a large number of FDEP data layers and imagery layers, provides buffer analysis capabilities, provides "drill-down" reporting capabilities, and provides general data browsing.

Division of State Lands

  • BTLDS Land Records Web Map

This is an Internet portal to the Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund (TIITF) State Lands Records archived with the Division of State Lands in Tallahassee, Florida. The Board of Trustees Land record Data base system (BTLDS) has three components: Mapping data, Tabular data, and Images related to BOT land records.

  • This web site allows searching BTLDS records by selecting parcels on a map or by entering information to search a database. The parcels displayed on the map represent parcels described in the archived TIITF land record documents; this is not a tax map or a representation of current ownership. Selecting a parcel on the map may return information about several different documents associated with that parcel through out the history of State land transactions involving that parcel.

  • BrownFields GeoViewer
The DEP Brownfields GeoViewer is a mapping tool designed to help you discover and map brownfields in the state of Florida. Using ESRI's ArcIMS software and the Department's ArcSDE database, this tool can locate and display state-designated brownfield areas and sites with signed rehabilitation agreements. This tool can help you determine if those areas fall within or near other state or federal incentive zones, such as the state's Front Porch Communities, Enterprise Zones, or EPA's Brownfield Pilots. Also, you can find specific local government, state, and federal point of contacts using this tool.

  • ICR - Institutional Controls Registry

The FDEP Institutional Controls Registry, or ICR, is a public, informational website that provides information on the Department's Institutional Controls Registry. The Registry is a database of all contaminated sites in the state of Florida, pursuant to Chapter 376 or 403 F.S., that are subject to institutional and engineering controls. The website uses ESRI's ArcIMS software Internet mapping technology to help visitors visualize, locate, and identify ICR sites in the state.

Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems

  • RCMD - Regional Coastal Monitoring Data

The Regional Coastal Monitoring Data collection and processing plan includes establishing four coastal regions within Florida where physical data is collected annually on a cyclical, recurring schedule. Data includes high-resolution, true color aerial photography, profile survey data, aerial videography, wave, and weather data. This public web mapping site makes this data and post-storm data collection efforts available for viewing and downloading. Pre-storm high-resolution, true color aerial photograps, video clips and photographs of Florida’s shoreline from spring 2004 and in the aftermath of Hurricanes Frances, Ivan and Jeanne provide illustrations of beach erosion and damage caused by the four storms.

Bureau of Mine Reclamation

Bureau of Watershed Management

  • STORET

The Florida STORET data warehouse contains all of the water quality, biological, and physical data collected in Florida that is loaded to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) Modernized STORET database. This website allows you to retrieve data from the warehouse and download it as a text file or display it on a map.
