Pellicer
Creek Canoe Trail
The
Pellicer Creek Canoe Trail is officially designated as part
of Floridas Statewide System of Greenways and Trails.
This four mile trail winds through tidal marsh. Along the
creek, you can often see wading birds, waterfowl, alligator,
otter and raccoon. Bald eagles nests are in this area.
The current is slow enough that you can paddle upstream
to make a round trip if you do not want to shuttle. The
trail ends at Faver-Dykes State Park, a biologically rich
area where you can experience a wilderness landscape.
