NW Marion Greenway/Price's Scrub
The Price’s Scrub tract was leased to OGT on May 29, 2003. Interim management of this site is on schedule with the planning process identified in the Trustees’ lease. OGT has completed several interim management tasks on the Price’s Scrub tract. Property boundaries have been cleared and established, parameter firebreaks have been completed, interior roads have been mowed and signs have been installed. Interim management funds totaling approximately $33,400 were used in FY 03/04 as described above.

Long-term management funds are based on acreage and determined on an annual basis. When allocated, these funds will be used to implement long-term management as identified in the Trustees' management plan, including resource protection and management, compatible public access, and promotion of the site as part of Florida’s statewide system of greenways and trails.
