• An officer's starting salary at FDEP is $31,880. 
• Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties start at $36,879.24 which includes a competitive area differential (CAD).
• Monroe County starts at $39,879.24 (includes CAD). 
• Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Counties start at $34,879.44.

Salary Information - Bureau of Environmental Investigations

• A special agent's (investigator) starting salary at FDEP is $39,560. 
• Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties start at $44,559.00 which includes a competitive area differential (CAD).
• Monroe County starts at $47,559.00 (includes CAD). 
• Lee, Collier, and Charlotte Counties start at $42,559.20.
