The Bureau of Emergency Response (BER)
NRDA Grant Projects 2000/2001

For Fiscal Year 2000/2001 the Florida Legislature authorized the Bureau of Emergency Response to use over $1.1M from the Coastal Protection Trust Fund to support our Natural Resource Damage Restoration Program. This money had been collected as a damage assessment over a period of years from those discharging oil into coastal waters. A total of 27 projects were funded around the state of Florida.
