SUMMARY

With the passage of Hurricane Dennis by the Florida Keys, close to 140,524 customers across 3 counties are affected by power outages.

Power outages are affecting approximately 110,000 FPL customers, 1,500 cooperative customers and 29,024 municipal customers.

COUNTY BY COUNTY BREAKDOWN

BROWARD COUNTY

  • • 6% of total customers without power.
  • • Approximately 55,000 of 879,016 FPL customers without power.

DADE COUNTY

  • • 6% of total customers without power.
  • • Approximately 55,000 of 967,055 FPL customers without power.

MONROE COUNTY

  • • 51% of total customers without power.
  • • All 29,024 municipal customers without power.
  • • Approximately 1,500 of 30,952 cooperative customers without power.
