SUMMARY
Following the landfall of Hurricane Dennis along Florida’s panhandle,
close to 217,410 customers across 16 counties are being affected by
power outages – 64,365 customers had power restored over the last 24
hours.
Power was restored to 12 counties over the last 24 hours: Calhoun,
Gilchrist, Hamilton, Highlands, Madison, Marion, Osceola, Pasco,
Pinellas, Seminole, Sumter, Taylor.
Power outages are affecting approximately 9,112 Progress Energy
Florida customers, 192,051 Gulf Power customers, 15,597 cooperative
customers and 650 municipal customers.
