Governor Bush to Visit Florida First
Responders in Mississippi
Governor Jeb Bush will visit Gulfport and Bay St.
Louis, Mississippi on Wednesday. The Governor will make
several stops to meet with first responders who are
supporting the Hurricane Katrina response and recovery
efforts in Mississippi. The first responders include law
enforcement officers from the Florida Department of Law
Enforcement, the Florida Highway Patrol, Marion, Putnam,
Escambia, Orange and Polk County Sheriff’s Offices as
well as the Ocala Police Department.
Governor Bush will be joined by Senate President Tom
Lee, House Speaker Allan Bense, Florida Department of
Law Enforcement Commissioner Guy Tunnell, and Director
of Emergency Management Craig Fugate.
