POWER BRIEFING SHEET

After the landfall of Hurricane Katrina in South Florida, close to 550,930
customers across three counties are affected by power outages.
Power outages are affecting approximately 547,100 FPL customers, 3,800
municipal customers and 30 cooperative customers.
BROWARD COUNTY
- 22% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 191,600 of 880,207 FPL customers without power.
COLLIER COUNTY
DADE COUNTY
- 36% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 355,500 of 968,480 FPL customers without power.
- Approximately 1,000 municipal customers without power.
MONROE COUNTY
- 5% of total customers without power.
- Approximately 30 of 30,952 cooperative customers without power.
- Approximately 2,800 municipal customers without power.
