TALLAHASSEE - The approach of Tropical Storm
Rita has necessitated the closure of the following DMS
pool facilities through Tuesday, September 20, 2005:
Dade County Rohde Building 401 NW 2nd Avenue Miami,
Florida 33128 Agencies impacted: AGR, AWI, DCF, DFS, DJJ,
DMS, DOE, DOH
Opa Locka Regional Service Center 100 & 200 Opa Locka
Boulevard Opa Locka, Florida 33504 Agencies impacted:
DCF, DMS
FDLE Building Miami 1012 NW 111th Avenue Miami,
Florida 33127 Agencies impacted: FDLE, DMS
The Department of Management Services closes DMS Pool
Facilities in affected counties during
disaster/emergency situations based on; local
government's decision to close offices, mandatory
evacuation notice for the area or declaration of a local
state of emergency. Office closures for non-pool
facilities will continue to be left to the discretion of
the agency head in the affected areas.
