Florida Emergency Operations Center Moves to Level 2 Operation

--Reduced From Level 1 as recovery operations continue from Orlando office.--

TALLAHASSEE – Effective 5 p.m. eastern today, the Florida State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Tallahassee moves to a Level 2, or partial activation, with hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.until further notice. Individual emergency support functions and state agencies will continue to report as response missions require.

The FEMA / Florida Long Term Recovery Office in Orlando is currently supporting the Hurricane Wilma recovery operations.

The State Warning Point continues to operate a 24-hour monitoring and notification system servicing Florida’s 67 counties.
