Mining and Minerals Regulation

The Mining and Minerals Regulation Program administers the laws and regulations related to the reclamation of mined land and the protection of water resources (water quality, water quantity and wetlands) at mines throughout Florida. The Program works with several mining land operations and also works with the permitting, compliance, enforcement, design, construction, operation and maintenance of phosphogypsum stack systems.
