The District's Water Resource Program is responsible for protecting the quality of Northeast Florida’s drinking water as well as its surface waters.

The Water Resource Program implements permitting, compliance and enforcement programs for Northeast Florida’s domestic and industrial wastewater facilities, its drinking water systems, and a myriad of activities in wetlands and other surface waters.

The Program is comprised of four main sections:
  1. Wastewater Compliance Assurance
  2. Wastewater Permitting
  3. Potable Water
  4. Technical Support
