Project WET and Healthy Water, Healthy People Workshops for Teachers in the Panhandle

Teachers working together with students.
Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) is a nonprofit water education program and publisher for educators and young people ages 5-18. The program facilitates and promotes awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources through the dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids and the establishment of internationally and state-sponsored Project WET programs. The Office of Environmental Education supports Project WET workshops in the panhandle region of Florida, with support from local Project WET facilitators.

State Committee on Environmental Education (SCENE) The State Committee on Environmental Education is an informal coordinating body of environmental educators from State Agencies. The participants share experiences and resources and coordinate activities to reduce overlaps and address gaps in environmental education in Florida.
