Limestone (n) - a bedded sedimentary deposit consisting chiefly of calcium carbonate. Limestone is an important and widely distributed of the carbonate rocks; it is the consolidated equivalent of limy mud, calcareous sand, or shell fragments.
Liquid (n) – a substance that is free flowing and takes the
shape of its container.
Litter (n) – garbage and trash that is thrown on the ground.
Lithosphere (n) - the solid outer part of the earth that is composed of rock.
