  • Learn how to set up a school recycling program by viewing this 15 minute on-line video, courtesy of Pennsylvania DEP.
  • Show the "Recycling: From Bin to Products" slide presentation. This slideshow demonstrates where recyclables go and what they become. It provides students with visual comprehension of the recycling process.

  • Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC) offers a battery lesson plan to students 10+ that demonstrates how batteries work, explores different types of batteries, explains the need to recycle, and provides battery usage and handling tips.
