This Section is responsible for implementing Florida's Solid Waste Program, which includes coordination with the district offices where the permitting, compliance and enforcement activities are implemented. The section also provides grants to local governments to help implement their solid waste and recycling programs, and administers the Financial Assurance Program and Full Cost Accounting for solid waste facilities.
