The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and DEP teamed up to offer training on financial assurance requirements for solid waste management facilities in 1998. Training sessions were held in order to provide an opportunity for owners and operators to develop an in-depth understanding of the financial assurance requirements. Although we do not plan on holding additional workshops, we have provided a copy of the overheads from the workshop to assist you.

Florida Administrative Code has been amended since the publication of these overheads. Changes include a new cost estimate reporting form, new cost estimate filing dates and new financial test financial requirements. Additional facility types require financial assurance.
