Ground Water Publications

The report is intended to portray the baseline for Florida's ground water quality. Future sampling results will be compared to these 1980's regional values. This publication is also referenced as Special Publication No. 34 of the Florida Geological Survey.

These guidelines are intended to provide assistance to Department permitting, cleanup, and enforcement personnel in assessing site-specific data, on a case-by-case basis, to determine the appropriate ground water sample for compliance and assessment determinations.

The objectives of this project were to evaluate drinking water quality from potable wells serving farm workers and to supply safe drinking water if contaminants are detected above EPA Drinking Water Standards.
