Ground Water Publications

 

The report is intended to portray the baseline for Florida's ground water quality. Future sampling results will be compared to these 1980's regional values. This publication is also referenced as Special Publication No. 34 of the Florida Geological Survey.

 A series of maps which portray the basic hydrogeologic conditions present within the principal aquifer systems of Florida, i.e. Florida's hydrogeological framework. This publication is also known as Special Publication 32 of the Florida Geological Survey.

These guidelines are intended to provide assistance to Department permitting, cleanup, and enforcement personnel in assessing site-specific data, on a case-by-case basis, to determine the appropriate ground water sample for compliance and assessment determinations.

The objectives of this project were to evaluate drinking water quality from potable wells serving farm workers and to supply safe drinking water if contaminants are detected above EPA Drinking Water Standards. DEP Standard Operating Procedures FS 2200 Ground Water Sampling
