Background Hydrogeochemistry

  • The report is intended to portray the baseline for Florida's ground water quality. Future sampling results will be compared to these 1980's regional values. This publication is also referenced as Special Publication No. 34 of the Florida Geological Survey.

Hydrogeologic Framework

  • A series of maps which portray the basic hydrogeologic conditions present within the principal aquifer systems of Florida, i.e. Florida's hydrogeological framework. This publication is also known as Special Publication 32 of the Florida Geological Survey.

VISA Fact Sheets

  • The Very Intense Study Area (VISA) Network monitors specific areas of the state that are believed to be highly susceptible to ground water contamination, based on predominant land use and hydrogeology.
