The Florida Ecological Restoration Inventory (FERI) is a compilation of current
and proposed ecological restoration projects within the State of Florida. This
inventory is maintained by the Florida Department of Environmental
Protection with contributions from many organizations.
Attribution for each project may include a project name; a description of the
project; applicable categories,
benefits, needs, and
habitats;
acreage estimate, cost estimate; and geographic information systems (GIS) data.
Wetland restoration as well as upland natural community restoration, exotic
species removal, cultural and historic resource management, and ecological
protection projects are included in the inventory.
FERI is a component of the
Florida Wetland Restoration
