*Special Information*
OCP is now accepting applications for Distribution System Operator Examinations. In addition to distribution system examinations, the OCP is also accepting and processing applications for Distribution System Operator Licensure for those who have completed an approved training course before October 15, 2007.  If you have not completed an approved training course before October 15, 2007, you will need to start the process by reading the distribution system examination information above.

Venice wastewater treatment plantFlorida Statutes require anyone who operates a drinking water treatment plant or a domestic wastewater treatment plant to be licensed by FDEP. Beginning May 1, 2011, licensure for Water Distribution System Operators becomes mandatory. To qualify for licensure an applicant must meet minimum educational and work experience requirements for each class of license. A passing score is required on the exam for the type and level license desired.

You may now renew your license on-line and pay with your credit card. It’s fast and simple. In addition to using this site to renew your license, you may also check the status of your license(s) and CEU’s in addition to verifying your current mailing address. All you need is your pin number which is printed on the renewal notice that was mailed to you. All renewal notices were mailed by our office on January 29, 2009. Your employer may also use this site to renew your license(s) with the company credit card. Once your license has been renewed, the OCP will mail your license to you within about 4-5 weeks.
