CEU Providers

A “Provider” is a non-profit organization or educational institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Types of educational institutions are accredited universities, community colleges, and vocational technical centers. Once approved, a Provider may present courses, seminars, or self- study courses for CEU credit. Additionally, a Provider may approve courses submitted to them by Sponsors. A Provider’s role is to ensure that the program planning content, organization and implementation comply with the department’s requirements. Providers must submit their qualifications to the Department and obtain Department approval before presenting courses, seminars or self- study courses for CEU credit or approving any course or seminar application for CEU credit. Providers are also responsible for submitting all completed CEU credits to the department.

A “Sponsor” is an entity that does not qualify to be a “Provider” but has expertise in drinking water or domestic wastewater treatment and has been approved by a Provider to present a course or seminar.

Below is a list of our current Providers. Please contact them for questions regarding:

  1. CEU courses and listings.
  2. Problems with CEU credits submitted to the department.
  3. Becoming a CEU course Sponsor(s) and/or course approval.
